One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure - My 7 Favorite Places to Buy & Sale USED!
Friday, May 22, 2015The Chicago wind was doing a lot on this rooftop! |
Having some fun! |
I thoroughly enjoy consigning and cleaning out my closet and sometimes I am lucky enough to find something cute for myself. Most of these places will pay you cash for your items or give you an option to trade it in for items in their store. Here are a few of my favorite consignment stores and websites.....drum roll please!!! Most people are very familiar with Ebay and places like Plato's Closet, and other popular spots but I just wanted to give a few of my favorites and of course there are many more out here. If you care to share drop your favorite consignment and thrift spots below!
My 7 favorite places to consign
Second Time Around - Multiple locations across the US - High End Luxury - (Gucci, Tori Burch, Lanvin, etc.) If selling, they provide a check once your items are sold.
Crossroads Trading Co - Storefront - Multiple locations in the US - Trendy Clothes (Gap, Marc Jacobs, All Saints, etc)
If selling you can walk in with a bag full of your gently used on trend clothes and walk out with cash
Buffalo Exchange - Storefront - Multiple locations across the US - Trendy/Vintage and super fun finds!!!
FashionPhile - Website - Luxury Items (They even have a layaway option) If looking to consign an item they have a very quick response
SnobSwap - Website - Luxury pieces such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Valentino. They also have clothes from designers like Alice & Olivia, All Saints, Cynthia Rowley and etc.
Yoogi's Closet - Luxury Items such as Gucci, LV, and many more
Luxury Garage Sale - Website & Storefront - The name really speaks for itself, here you can score Hermes, Valentino, Louis Vuitton and more! With a location in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood, Luxury Garage Sale is a super cute store with tons of High End pieces. If thinking of consigning, they require three pieces at a time.
H&M - Obviously, H&M is not a consignment store but did you all know that you can bring a bag of used clothes into H&M and receive 15% off any item in store? That's right, you receive a 15% off voucher for every bag of used clothes. For more information click here.
