Happy Friday!!
I have been pretty busy
lately but I have soooooo much in the works for my awesome readers. As I share
these fun pics from last Sunday’s #SundaysWithTot, I want to remind ALL of you
how special you are.
God has designed each
and every one of us with a very specific purpose in mind. Let’s remember
through the hustle and bustle of life that we were designed to contribute something
very specific to this world.
One of my good friends
leads a women’s Bible study weekly and we recently went over something that
reminded me of how special I am. Psalms 118:22 says, “The stone the builders
rejected has become the cornerstone…”
As we begin to study
this out I was so blessed!!!! You would think that the builders would know
exactly what to do with all of the stones, but ohhh nooooo this is not very
true. The builders rejected a stone that God was able to make a cornerstone!!!!
A CORNERSTONE!!!!!
This message is to remind you that no matter who has rejected
you, that God has accepted you!!!!
This message is to remind you that you are on this earth for a
reason! You have more to contribute to the world than just getting a coin.
You are that cornerstone, so special and so necessary!
Outfit Details
This outfit is all about the versatility of the Kimono! This
super cute Kimono is from H&M for $40, but it is worth so much more!! I
wore this kimono a couple of ways to show some different styles. Not every day
you wear a cream pencil skirt, also from H&M, that so happens to hug EVERY curve.
Haha! With that being said, this kimono served as the perfect addition to this outfit. I encourage you
when shopping to be creative. This kimono was just on the hanger being passed
up like that stone the builders rejected and when I saw it I was like
ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! (Insert heavenly music) It had slits up the sides, so I
instantly tied it up, and begin to style it multiple ways. Fun! Fun! Fun! In closing,
instead of rejecting pieces you are not used to, pick them up and play with
them. Think out of the box and remember your style should be totally YOU!!!
Oh yeah, and in case being creative is just not your thing..... I got you!

We certainly are viewed as precious by God, who did not even withhold his own dear son, Jesus, and sent him to earth to die for us. Interestingly Jesus applied the verse in Psalm 118:22 to himself (Matt 21:42; Mark 12:10,11; Luke 20:17) and Peter also applied this Psalm to Jesus in Acts 4:8-12 so the scriptures make clear that the cornerstone is none other than Jesus Christ himself
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Thank you so much for this. We cross referenced Mark during the Bible Study but not Acts. I am going to study this more. That's pretty AMAZING!!!!!
